TheArkALMIGHTY.com website is designed to make it easy to get involved in practical and tangible volunteer outreach. Can you balance a checkbook? Can you hang a picture frame? Can you throw a spiral? You might not think these everyday activities as volunteering, but for the people around you who can’t do them, your ability and your willingness to help is exactly what they need. You’d be amazed how a simple act of kindness can change lives!

LA Family Housing owns and operates a permanent housing facility, which consists of 2 apartment complexes in Canoga Park known as Alabama Court. Of the 42 families who reside there, half have known homelessness and the other half are right on the cusp. Our goal is to love and encourage these families in practical ways by being a consistent presence in their lives.

Special Events
Periodically throughout the year Shepherd Woodland Hills will host an event, to which the community is invited. Christmas Eve Dinner and Candlelight Service, Easter, Revival, and Summer Gatherings are just a few. Events are announced during the Sunday morning worship services and on the website calendar. Please be sure to invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members to attend—all are welcome!
Benevolence Donations
